Requirements
Must:
Must Have:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional mobile development experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in creating cross-platform apps using React Native (TypeScript).
- Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals and React hooks.
- Proven experience integrating RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Practical experience with Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging, Analytics).
- Familiarity with mobile build pipelines (Xcode, Gradle, Fastlane).
- Experience in publishing applications on the App Store and Google Play.
- Proficient in state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Recoil).
- Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and agile project delivery.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in a remote-first setup.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with native iOS/Android development (Swift, Kotlin, Java).
- Knowledge of React JS for web applications.
- Exposure to AWS, microservices, or real-time messaging.
- Familiarity with Bitrise, AppCenter, or Gitlab Actions for mobile CI/CD.
- Background in fleet management, logistics, or telematics platforms.
Responsibilities
In this role as Senior React Native Developer, I will:
- Take charge of the mobile experience that connects our cloud platform to users in the field.
- Design, develop, and deploy cross-platform applications that are efficient, robust, and well-received by users.
- Ensure that every interface I create has a direct impact on fleet operations, maintenance, and overall performance.
- Build user-friendly, high-performance applications using React Native (TypeScript).
- Integrate seamlessly with AWS microservices, Firebase, and real-time APIs.
- Implement offline-first capabilities and secure data synchronization.
- Deliver clean, testable, and reusable code alongside a polished user experience.
- Automate the app delivery process for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and Backend teams to deliver valuable features.
