Requirements
Must:
- SAP Solution Specialist expertise in Production Planning (PP), Master Data Management (MDM), or Sales and Distribution (SD)
- Over 5 years of experience in SAP implementation and support
- Minimum of 2 years in SAP S/4HANA Cloud
- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodologies and Agile project management principles
- Strong knowledge in one of the following areas:
1) Production planning, material requirements planning (MRP), shop floor execution, and capacity planning
2) Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes and SAP SD functionalities
3) Data quality, data governance, and master data lifecycle management
- Experience with SAP Fiori applications and embedded analytics is advantageous
- SAP PP or SAP S/4HANA certification is highly preferred
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and enhance SAP PP or MDM or SD solutions to align with business processes
- Lead and engage in SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementations, with a focus on SAP PP module best practices
- Apply SAP Activate methodology throughout project phases: discovery, preparation, exploration, realization, deployment, and operation
- Assess business requirements and convert them into functional specifications and solution designs
- Configure functionalities for one of the following areas:
1) SAP Production Planning PP, including demand management, MES, and capacity planning
2) SAP Master Data, covering material master, customer master, vendor master, business partner, and financial master data
3) SAP Sales and Distribution SD, focusing on order-to-cash processes, pricing, billing, and credit management
- Facilitate system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Identify and resolve complex issues while providing ongoing support post-go-live
- Stay informed about the latest SAP S/4HANA features and industry standards
Description
We are a major electronics manufacturer seeking a skilled SAP Solution Specialist for a contract-to-hire role, with a full-time option available in approximately three months. Our initial offer is $85/hr on W2, with C2C options also available. The permanent position offers a competitive salary range of up to $160K+, in addition to bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. This role is based in Melville, NY (Long Island) with a hybrid work model of four days onsite and one day remote each week.
