Requirements
Must:
- 7+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator, supporting various versions of Oracle RDBMS (11g - 19c+)
- Strong understanding of Oracle Real Application Clusters and various operating systems (AIX, Linux, Windows)
- Extensive experience with the full project life cycle
- Proficient in developing database scripts (SQL, PL/SQL, and Unix Shell)
- Familiarity with Oracle database design, coding, and documentation
- Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills
- Preferred experience with other DBMS such as PostgreSQL and Sybase
Responsibilities
- Administer the firms Oracle database environment, including support, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and patching
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot availability and performance issues
- Tune database performance and manage backup, restore, and recovery processes
- Ensure data integrity and security
- Oversee Oracle Grid Infrastructure and database storage management, including ASM
- Automate routine DBA tasks and support high availability/disaster recovery solutions (RAC, DataGuard)
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to address production database needs
- Support software development projects, including facilitating production releases
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with all relevant stakeholders
- Learn about critical business processes, data flow, and dependencies
- Innovate and seek opportunities to enhance systems with more efficient technologies

The salary range for this position is between $145,000 and $165,000, with an additional bonus of around 15% and an attractive benefits package.
