Metadata Analyst

- Minimum of 6 years of experience in metadata management, with a solid grounding in best practices and industry standards - Proficiency in metadata management, data cataloging, and mapping data lineage using enterprise data governance tools like Securiti.ai - Expertise in creating metamodels, business glossaries, data dictionaries, and data catalogs - Strong understanding of Data Management functions, including Data Taxonomy, Data Lineage, and Data Governance - Experience in data analysis and manipulation using tools such as SQL and Python - Familiarity with relational and dimensional modeling concepts - Knowledge of data warehouse design, operational data stores, and data mart concepts - Proficient with source code management and DevOps platforms like GitLab or GitHub - Understanding of control and risk management concepts, with the ability to evaluate controls and develop procedure and process flows in conjunction with business and control partners - Capability to map Critical Data Elements (CDEs) to relevant processes, Data Domains, Data Concepts, and Data Sources, while maintaining an accurate business process map - Experience with Data Catalogs and Data Quality tools like Securiti.ai and Anomalo - Proficient with data analytic reporting software such as Power BI - Preferred: Creative thinker able to devise innovative data solutions and enhance the efficiency of metadata collection and reporting - Preferred: Strong background in the Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) or Financial Services data domain - Bachelors degree in Information Science & Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related fields
