Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Cost Accounting
- Minimum of 3 years in FP&A or Cost Accounting
- At least 2 years in general Accounting
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel (2 years of daily use)
- Experience with BI Tools and/or Forecasting Tools
- Solid understanding of business financials
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and manage tasks under pressure
- Proven track record in building strong relationships and driving consensus across diverse stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capacity to operate independently in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
- Positive demeanor and eagerness to learn and grow
- Familiarity with financial reporting and planning tools is highly desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Discretion in handling confidential information
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Financial Business Partners (FBP) and business unit teams to analyze and track sales trends, gross margin, costs, and pricing
- Prepare monthly and quarterly analyses focusing on sales metrics, average selling price, gross margin, and cost of goods sold (COGS)
- Assist in the development of annual and quarterly budgets and profit and loss forecasts concentrated on sales, COGS, and gross margin
- Conduct business analyses, including the publication and presentation of monthly key performance indicators (KPI) for each business unit, concentrating on COGS and gross margin variances
- Develop gross margin analyses considering sales price variances, product mix, and customer volume across various markets
- Bridge intercompany pricing structures with local P&L to enhance business unit leaders financial comprehension
- Review annual sales contract margins for key customers and provide recommendations on customer margin impact and product mix
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes alongside cost center managers and business unit partners
- Assist in meeting planning deadlines for business unit partners
- Contribute to the companywide planning process utilizing FP&A software (Prophix)
- Aid in the implementation of SAP ERP
- Lead special projects and assist with miscellaneous financial analyses and initiatives
