Requirements
Must:
- Over 7 years of experience in web, UI, and UX design
- 1-2 years in a startup or agency environment
- A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end web projects, live websites, landing pages, and responsive designs
- Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design
- Experience with mobile app user interfaces
- Skills in creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries
- Proven ability to estimate time accurately and deliver quality work within deadlines
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proven competence in visual quality assurance (VQA)
- Knowledge of information architecture diagrams
- History of mentoring junior designers
Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive web design projects for various clients from initial concepts to high-fidelity mockups
- Develop detailed design documentation including sketches, renderings, 3D models, and technical drawings
- Transform abstract requirements into polished wireframes and detailed UI, enhancing client expectations with creative input
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure designs are realistic and executable, mitigating risks during the VQA process
- Define, evolve, and uphold design systems to guarantee consistency across projects
- Produce high-quality designs under tight deadlines, finding a balance between speed and quality
- Present design concepts and their rationale to clients and internal teams, addressing feedback and offering clear recommendations
- Stay updated on the latest trends in web design, materials, and technologies
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing outcomes to enhance usability and visual appeal
