Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline from an accredited institution
- 3 to 5 years of professional technical experience, preferably with Naval Weapon Systems
- Strong understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodology
- Direct experience utilizing Cameo Systems Modeler and MagicDraw
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Effective communication skills with personnel at all organizational levels
- Excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and capability to work independently or collaboratively
- Must be able to lift 15 to 25 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods
- Ability to twist, bend, and squat periodically
- Must possess a DoD SECRET security clearance
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for Secret clearance
Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with the client to analyze complex technical support tasks
- Provide input and assistance in requirements validation, operational conceptualization, and developmental testing
- Employ Model-Based Systems Engineering principles using the Cameo Systems Modeler tool
- Develop alternatives to assess architectural impacts
- Support integration testing and ensure software release verification and validation
- Work alongside other engineers to identify optimal software solutions
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Description
We are Bowhead, seeking a Systems Engineer with a DoD SECRET clearance and expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering to join our dedicated team supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division on vital projects.
