Must:
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of five years of experience in program or project support, focusing on analyzing and evaluating program operations to ensure they meet established objectives and requirements. You'll need to have experience in providing engineering guidance for the approval of new gun munitions and familiarity with Gun Weapon Systems or Navy programs. Additionally, a background in developing and testing solutions for technical issues in research and development, manufacturing, inspection, and maintenance is essential. Candidates should also be proficient in data analysis, systems specifications, and assessment methodologies, along with being skilled in using MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment are necessary as you'll be required to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Please note that you must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level, as US Citizenship is a prerequisite for this clearance at our location.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Reviewing Navy Munitions Data documentation, providing engineering guidance for diverse gun munitions (including MCAL, ICAL, and OSGA), and submitting or reviewing annual budgets for munitions-related initiatives. You will also review programmatic documentation related to the Navy munitions, assess High Explosive Fill procedures and logistics, and offer troubleshooting support for any gun munition anomalies that may arise.
Description
In this role as a Senior Program Analyst, you will be an integral team member supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), specifically within the E Department. We value candidates who are dedicated to delivering exceptional technical support in a complex and unique environment. The ideal candidate will possess experience in ammunition or fuze systems, contributing to our mission's success. Physical demands for this position include the ability to lift between 15 to 25 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform periodic twisting, bending, and squatting activities.
