Requirements
Must:
- I require a Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) along with a minimum of five (5) years of experience as an analyst. At least three (3) of those years should be specialized in program management, technical, or business analysis. Additionally, within the five (5) years, I need three (3) years of professional experience supporting NAVAIR programs or offices.
- Alternatively, an Associate’s degree (AS/AA) with an additional four (4) years of experience may substitute for the BA/BS, or an additional eight (8) years of experience may also be substituted for the BA/BS.
- I also look for demonstrated knowledge in the management and operations of Department of Navy Systems Commands, as well as a minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Experience with conducting extensive evaluations of existing procedures, processes, communication methods, models, and/or systems concerning management challenges is desirable.
- You should possess sufficient experience and knowledge to support senior Navy leadership in facilitating command-wide strategic planning and developing enterprise-level vision documents, managing large organizational executive board meetings, and producing command-wide documentation.
- Proficiency in advanced features of Microsoft PowerPoint is necessary, and familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint is preferred. Furthermore, I expect proficiency with the standard Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Responsibilities
- I expect the Management Analyst Senior to conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, perform work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedure manuals to help management operate more efficiently and effectively.
- This role involves leading program analysts and management consultants in the application of analytic techniques, defining project objectives, and guiding strategic direction.
- You may be responsible for providing leadership and vision to client and project teams regarding methodology.
- You will also tackle intricate problems that necessitate an in-depth understanding of analytic principles and methodologies.
- Furthermore, I expect you to direct the activities of more junior analysts or other staff members as needed, specifically those tasks associated with employing analytical methods and methodologies.
Description
- The position is based in Patuxent River, MD, under a newly awarded contract at Bowhead. - Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and twist, bend, and squat periodically. - To qualify for this position, you must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level, and US citizenship is required for security clearance at this location.
