Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with various database systems is essential, and prior experience within the Department of Defense (DOD) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Effective communication skills to interact with employees at all levels and external contacts.
- Strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment with the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
- Highly organized with the capacity to understand both detailed information and the wider context.
- A commitment to delivering quality customer service and addressing customer needs with a focus on mission success.
- Ability to travel, including out of the country (OCONUS).
- Must be able to obtain a clearance at the Secret level; US Citizenship is required for this clearance.
Responsibilities
- I will provide program analysis support to Weapon Systems Managers (WSMs) for Foreign Military Sales Cases.
- I will maintain records and update spreadsheets, trackers, and task assignments.
- I will retrieve reports and data from DOD and FMS databases.
- Collaborating with team members and external agencies, I will identify discrepancies and work to resolve them.
- I am responsible for verifying the accuracy of reporting information and identifying any missing or inaccurate data.
- I will initiate and address reporting discrepancies as they arise.
- Tracking changes to FMS cases, I will summarize significant activities for management reports.
- I will support various tasks, including providing backup assistance for report generation and data entry.
- I will compile source documents to ensure visibility and tracking of FMS case execution.
- I will update and maintain internal databases and Excel spreadsheets, tracking deliverables and financial data.
- I will contribute to the development and implementation of logistics program activities, such as support for purchases, transfers, and leases of weapon systems, along with technical documentation.
- I will also conduct data entry and reporting reviews and perform other duties as assigned.
