Requirements

Must:
- A BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science - At least 10 years of extensive experience in engineering and installing VTC/AV systems, including programming for Crestron/Extron and AMX control, as well as DSP audio installation - Proven experience in supporting and maintaining VTC/AV equipment on NIPRNET, SIPRNET, COE JWICS, GWAN, and GOLD networks - Strong customer service abilities, including relationship management, responsiveness, timely issue resolution, and creative problem-solving in high-pressure situations - Knowledge and skills as outlined in the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework for Work Role 411 (Intermediate) - Certification in CompTIA Security+ and at least one of the following: Crestron Certified Programmer (CCP), Extron Authorized Programmer (EAP), Crestron Technician, Extron Control Professional, or Extron Network AV Specialist - Proficient in Python 3.x and familiarity with Thinklogical Technology 300 is highly favored - Must currently possess a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility

Responsibilities

- Strategize and manage installations related to AV Control System Programming and testing, while operating and maintaining video conferencing equipment on NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS networks - Supervise the VTC support team in the upkeep of video conferencing-specific hardware, software, and peripherals such as CODEC, AV, Gateways, TMS, Monitors, Projectors, and AMX Panels - Stay current with emerging technologies and advise on potential new technology adoptions, including refresh cycles, to the Government - Program and set up Extron, Crestron, AMX, and BIAMP systems for advanced AV projects - Conduct rack-level configuration and testing, alongside troubleshooting and validating systems in complex AV environments - Work closely with project managers, field engineers, and design teams to facilitate successful deployments and seamless daily customer AV/VTC sessions - Provide prompt programming updates for Extron and Crestron systems in response to outages and evolving project requirements - Maintain precise technical documentation, configuration files, and commissioning reports, ensuring adherence to DoD and DISA standards - Oversee daily AV/VTC operations across NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS networks - Lead troubleshooting and resolution for escalated AV/VTC challenges, delivering root cause assessments and system-level solutions - Collaborate with government leadership and external vendors to ensure operational continuity and technology cohesion - Guide and train junior AV/VTC staff, providing advanced technical assistance and mentorship - Assist in developing and maintaining SOPs and security documentation relevant to AV/VTC operations
