Requirements
Must:
- BA/S in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or similar field is essential.
- A combination of experience and education may be considered in place of a degree.
- A minimum of two years of relevant technical experience is mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint at an intermediate to advanced level.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with employees and external contacts.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and sound judgment, capable of working independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
- Must be physically able to lift up to 20 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform twisting, bending, and squatting activities as needed.
- Currently possess a Top Secret security clearance; ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance upon hiring is required.
- US Citizenship is necessary for Top Secret clearance approval.
Responsibilities
- Compose various technical documents, reports, brochures, and manuals to meet diverse documentation needs.
- Collaborate on the layout of graphics and oversee the production of documentation.
- Ensure that all content maintains high quality and complies with established standards.

We are Bowhead, seeking a Technical Writer, Journeyman to join us in supporting the High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) Integrated Technical Services - Restricted (HITS-R) contract based in Aberdeen, MD. Our mission involves providing comprehensive technical and professional support for the HPCMP Office throughout all operational phases. We maintain a focus on program management support, along with facilitating meetings and providing an organized office environment equipped with state-of-the-art telecommunications and computer systems.
