Digital Transformation and Power Platform Analyst

In this role, you will lead initiatives to modernize our technical infrastructure at the Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) by enhancing existing systems and processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness. You will design, develop, and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Apps and Power BI to support projects, including performance metrics and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case development and execution. Your responsibilities will also involve leveraging Microsoft Copilot 365 to streamline documentation, reporting, and productivity workflows, thereby incorporating AI capabilities into our business processes. Additionally, you will actively engage with stakeholders to collect business requirements, define project objectives, and guarantee alignment with our organizational goals. You will represent SAMD in working group meetings and collaborate with external contacts developing related systems or tools. Furthermore, you will create custom applications and workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate to optimize internal processes, design and maintain dashboards to enhance access to key metrics, and develop knowledge management strategies for capturing and organizing institutional knowledge. You will prepare and conduct briefings on dashboard usage, providing training and support to enable successful adoption among personnel, and brief senior leadership on new digital tools and dashboards to ensure alignment with our organizational strategy. You will also prepare for and oversee the integration of a closed network AI system into SAMD’s operations when it becomes available. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
