Data Analyst - Dahlgren

We are looking for candidates who possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in data science, along with a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience. Ideal applicants should have strong analytical skills related to database management and development, coupled with knowledge of relational database management systems and data warehousing. Experience in creating reports and dashboards is essential, and familiarity with Virtual Machine or AI technologies is highly desirable. Proficiency in writing and analyzing structured query language (SQL) queries, as well as coding and software development experience, is preferred. A solid understanding of mathematical reasoning, as well as effective communication skills—both orally and in writing—will be necessary for customer support, requirement gathering, and validation. Candidates should also be knowledgeable about analytical tools and evaluation techniques, possess intermediate to advanced level skills in the Microsoft Office software suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and be able to communicate effectively with senior government customers. Proficiency in English—reading, writing, and speaking—is mandatory. Additionally, applicants must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level, and U.S. citizenship is required due to the clearance necessity at this location.
