Requirements
Must:
- 7+ years of professional experience in software development with solid problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.
- Expertise in maintaining and optimizing databases, with a deep understanding of complex queries, joins, views, and data types.
- Proficient in writing, debugging, and deploying applications primarily using Python.
- At least 3 years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or TypeScript.
- Proven track record in designing widely used API schemas.
- Skilled in using Git along with collaborative development workflows, including pull requests and code reviews.
- Capacity to visualize the impact of changes in database schemas on APIs and UIs.
- Ability to convert complex data requirements into clear specifications for non-technical stakeholders.
- Instrumental in independently progressing features from conceptualization in the database to a deployed front-end.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain normalized database schemas, crafting efficient stored procedures, queries, and triggers.
- Develop APIs that create a communication conduit between our database and client applications.
- Enhance database performance through indexing and comprehensive query analysis.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms to safeguard data privacy and integrity.
- Create responsive front-end applications using frameworks like React or Angular to handle complex datasets.
- Effectively manage application state to facilitate asynchronous data fetching and caching.
- Build forms and inputs that validate user data client-side prior to submission to the database.
