Requirements
Must:
To be considered for this role, I expect you to have a Bachelor’s degree or higher, along with at least 7 years of experience in IT architecture, specifically 5 of those years focusing on workplace or Microsoft 365 domains. You should have demonstrated experience in Agile architecture delivery as well as cross-functional team collaboration. Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: M365 Enterprise Administrator Expert and Azure Solutions Architect, or similar credentials. Additional security and compliance certifications are a plus, along with familiarity with GDPR, DLP, and data privacy standards. I also value skills in architecture assessment, modeling, consulting, and review, as well as solution design and implementation across collaboration and productivity platforms. A strong understanding of IT risk management and governance principles and workplace services expertise is crucial. Familiarity with Digital Design Principles and modern architecture frameworks is advantageous too.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will play a pivotal role in our digital transformation by redefining and designing technology solutions that can optimize our offerings for agile innovation, while managing risks related to cybersecurity and operational resilience. You will serve as a thought leader and a problem solver, guiding product teams to accelerate development safely and prevent rigid solutions that hinder creativity. Specifically, you will be responsible for bridging enterprise architecture and engineering, designing services and products within our Digital Collaboration portfolio. This includes providing architectural vision and roadmap direction for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance frameworks. You will document architecture views and deliver artifacts required throughout the delivery process, validating that solutions align with the architectural design and driving teams to enhance automation in their deployment pipelines.
Description
In your new role, collaboration will be key. You’ll engage closely with engineers, product owners, and other architects, particularly within the M365 environment. Your partnership with digital portfolio teams will be crucial for system designs and integrations. A significant aspect of the role involves working with security and user experience teams to ensure our designs prioritize user needs while maintaining robust security. Additionally, as a member of our architecture guild, you’ll collaborate with architects globally. We offer a competitive total compensation package, which includes a base salary range between $140,000 and $179,333, potential bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits program featuring zero dollar health premiums and generous paid time off.
