Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor or masters degree in mathematics, natural sciences, information technology, business management, or a related field
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience leading APS implementations using tools such as Kinaxis, o9, Blue Yonder, or SAP IBP
- Proficient in business process design and configuration
- Experience managing cross-functional, global deployments for planning transformations
- Knowledge of Supply Chain principles
- Prior experience in a management role overseeing multiple end-to-end planning platform implementations in either a waterfall or agile environment
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Outstanding analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Skilled in managing decision processes within large organizations
- Strong orientation towards customer satisfaction and results
- Persuasive and confident
- Experience in planning and managing extensive, complex projects
- Familiarity with Gen AI tools (e.g., practical use of Generative AI like ChatGPT, Claude) and ability to validate responses
- Willingness to travel internationally to collaborate with clients and BCG teams, with significant travel being project-dependent
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and establish relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
- Advocate Agile methodologies to navigate challenges and implement solutions effectively
- Work through ambiguous situations with confidence and clarity
- Leverage IT expertise to devise innovative solutions
- Drive organizational change by onboarding teams to new processes and tools
- Build trust and foster relationships to influence stakeholders
- Develop feasibility studies and assess platform suitability, providing recommendations
- Support the redesign of core planning processes in line with platform capabilities
- Lead technical demonstrations and proof-of-concept sessions for clients
- Formulate functional and non-functional requirements for planning platforms
- Oversee full lifecycle implementations for Advanced Planning Systems in Supply Chain
- Engage in designing and deploying UI/UX configurations for various planning functions
- Conduct data mapping, transformation, and normalization for APS use cases
- Create integrated solution architecture designs ensuring compatibility with enterprise systems
- Develop secure and efficient data integration patterns for timely deployment
- Create implementation roadmaps outlining scope and effort for APS programs
- Provide expert guidance on tooling options, highlighting key advantages and trade-offs
- Generate client-specific strategic materials and derive actionable insights
- Translate technical findings into measurable business impacts
- Manage change in organizations by driving engagement and training initiatives
- Align platform capabilities with desired value-driven outcomes
- Set KPIs and metrics to evaluate platform success
- Present updates and materials to client and internal teams
- Facilitate strategic sessions and workshops
