Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in information technology, business administration, computer science, information systems, or a related field (Masters degree preferred)
- Over 6 years of experience in technology consulting or software engineering, with a minimum of 3 years in IT architecture
- Practical experience delivering consumer or enterprise-level mobile applications at scale
- In-depth understanding of mobile development ecosystems, deployment pipelines, and application lifecycle management
- Competence in translating business and product requirements into feasible mobile architectures balancing speed, quality, and maintainability
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to serve as a trusted advisor influencing clients and BCG leadership teams
- Strong ability to work autonomously and creatively in a fast-paced problem-solving environment, centered on client satisfaction and results
- Advanced technical knowledge, engineering precision, and innovative problem-solving skills
- Capacity to articulate complex technology concepts to senior executives
- Extensive technical knowledge in areas such as:
- Cloud technologies and architecture
- Integration methods, design patterns, and relevant tools
- Database structures and behaviors
- Data platform architecture and methodologies
- Data analytics and AI architecture
- Application modernization techniques
- Mainframe architecture
- Process automation tools
- Agile mindset effectively navigating challenges and focused on business value
- Familiarity with Gen AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) and ability to verify responses
- Willingness to travel frequently for client engagements depending on project requirements
Responsibilities
- Collaborate as part of interdisciplinary teams, fostering alignment and relationships among diverse stakeholder groups
- Demonstrate extensive technical expertise, delivering innovative solutions amidst complex challenges
- Comfortably navigate uncertain situations, developing strategies to move forward
- Drive organizational change by onboarding teams and implementing new processes and tools
- Advocate for agile methodologies, applying them to strategically address challenges and implement enhancements
- Utilize creative thinking to design next-generation technology solutions
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource on IT Architecture, acting both as a hands-on practitioner and subject matter expert
- Forge strategic partnerships with senior clients, including C-level executives, creating solutions at the intersection of technology and business
- Ensure alignment between IT strategies and organizational goals to address critical business issues
- Design mobile application architectures across platforms (iOS and Android), including backend patterns and integrations
- Conduct technology assessments, optimize IT architectures, and scale software solutions
- Assist in IT optimization during mergers and acquisitions, restructuring processes and supporting development
- Manage implementation projects, evaluating products and ensuring quality standards
- Communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, delivering compelling presentations
- Mentor junior team members, guiding their development and promoting a positive team culture
- Drive innovation and foster a growth mindset, building client relationships and supporting business development initiatives
