Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, IT, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience directly involved in Epic application support, executing builds in the relevant application(s).
- Proven experience with protocol and medication management/build in oncology or complex clinical workflows.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams.
- Familiarity with Willow medication build or prior experience with Willow is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of protocols in Epic Beacon, encompassing treatment plans, orders, and clinical workflows.
- Assist in the construction of medication builds and other pharmacy-related workflows.
- Collaborate with oncology clinical personnel to decipher protocol requirements and convert them into efficient Epic workflows.
- Configure, uphold, and provide support for Epic Beacon workflows.
- Engage in testing, validation, and optimization efforts for new or updated functionalities within Beacon.
- Troubleshoot and rectify issues associated with Beacon workflows, escalating complex challenges as necessary.
- Create and sustain documentation, including workflow diagrams, build guides, and support materials.
- Work alongside IT, pharmacy, and clinical teams to facilitate successful adoption of system modifications.
- Provide ongoing training and educational support related to Beacon functionalities for clinical staff.
- Participate in system upgrades, go-live activities, and optimization initiatives.
- Offer tier-two support and act as a subject matter expert for Beacon users.

This role entails close collaboration with clinical teams, operational leaders, and IT colleagues to ensure that Beacon functionalities are in sync with clinical protocols and medication management goals.
