Responsibilities

- Senior Resource: I will serve as a subject-matter expert with extensive knowledge of Cupid and its related non-Epic products/applications, along with the operational processes being supported. Within standard protocols, I will independently manage the design, build/configuration, testing, and ongoing support of Epic Cupid application areas. - Business Solutions: I will adopt a consultative approach by engaging with internal subject-matter experts in operations to comprehend current and future demands. By conducting technology and operations analysis, I will identify the root causes of complex issues and present my recommendations to senior team members or management as appropriate. I will also advise on the execution of changes, while monitoring ongoing processes and the effectiveness of solutions. - Triage/Troubleshooting: I will actively participate in analyzing tickets and requests to determine the need for project-based work. I will lead investigations and resolve complex tickets or requests that involve multiple applications or present challenges in initial definitions. Additionally, I will tackle advanced issues related to vendor peripheral device support. - Builds/Configurations: I will perform advanced configurations or customizations to meet business or clinical requirements. This includes modifying builds with significant changes, introducing new functionalities, integrating multiple applications, and crafting complex logic or new templates. I will also document decisions and applicable business rules, and help prepare user documentation as needed. Furthermore, I will perform or lead unit, integrated, and specialty application testing. - Integrations: I will oversee the implementation of changes in supported core applications, collaborating with third-party vendors and/or internal applications to ensure successful integration. Assessing integration requirements for core Epic applications will be my responsibility to align with project needs, and I will coordinate integration requirements for non-Epic applications with the relevant IT team and vendor support. I will also manage the maintenance, upgrades, and testing of associated third-party integrations. - Upgrades/Maintenance: I will be involved in upgrades by owning release notes that affect multiple areas across the supported applications, requiring coordination among teams. I will communicate major milestones to project teams and customers and escalate issues to management when necessary. Additionally, I will create, maintain, and update integrated test scripts with each upgrade, performing ongoing advanced system maintenance. - Communications, Leadership & Professional Development: I will participate in presentations or updates for leadership, maintain ongoing communication with various teams regarding supported applications, and provide feedback on policies and best practices as a subject-matter expert. I will manage project work to ensure completion as per schedule and coordinate with assigned project managers. There may be opportunities to present at national forums and to attend Epic-related conferences and training.
