We seek candidates with over 8 years of experience in information security. You should have knowledge of Armis or Axonius solutions related to Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management (CAASM) and familiarity with Elastic Stack solutions for searching, analyzing, and visualizing SIEM data regarding search, observability, and security. Candidates must possess the ability to troubleshoot and optimize information security systems, providing strategic guidance to enhance their functionality in response to evolving operational challenges. Strong leadership skills are vital, as you'll need to coordinate initiatives, manage requirements, schedules, and actions for timely project completion aligned with organizational goals.
Collaboration with security, infrastructure, and operations teams is essential to develop, implement, and manage automation scripts, increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of security operations. Experience maintaining and troubleshooting security infrastructure is required, along with the capability to implement and manage advanced solutions that support and enhance infrastructure management and security operations. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is necessary, along with an Information Security Certification such as CISSP, CISM, or other equivalent certifications. A Public Trust eligibility determination is also required.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will support the government client's security operations mission by overseeing the deployment, operation, administration, troubleshooting, updating, securing, and maintenance of systems, software, and infrastructure that facilitate enterprise cybersecurity capabilities. My duties will include operating, maintaining, and administering existing network and systems architectures, encompassing hardware, software, physical cabling, and IP address management. I will also provide support for a wide array of technical environments, including networking and security devices, circuits, automated systems, servers, client computers, applications, databases, voice systems, helpdesk support, asset and inventory management, and field technical assistance.

Additional qualifications for applicants include experience in maintaining comprehensive documentation for system designs, configurations, processes, and service records. You should be well-versed in security hardening framework standards and regulations, such as those from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800-53 Revision 5, and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Ideal candidates will have the ability to analyze and improve existing frameworks and stay updated on the latest security and automation technologies for consistent best practices. Technical skills in scripting languages like Bash, Perl, JavaScript, or Python are necessary for automating tasks and enhancing system functionalities. You should also be proficient in performing administration and operations and maintenance tasks from the command line, while guiding and mentoring junior team members. Participation in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation may be required, alongside the ability to independently troubleshoot LAN/WAN connections and network issues.
