Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience as a data analyst
- Proficiency in creating dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and Tableau for reporting to leadership and stakeholders
- Skilled in SQL for data querying, joining, and aggregation from enterprise data sources
- Ability to translate policy, workforce, or business requirements into clear, actionable insights and metrics
- Experience managing large, complex datasets, including data cleansing, validation, and quality assurance
- Strong client engagement skills to gather business needs and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Understanding of Federal data governance, privacy, and compliance, including the proper handling of Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
- Possession of a Secret clearance
- Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics
Responsibilities
- Leverage your expertise in data analytics to foster client and stakeholder relationships
- Research, design, and implement data methodologies while generating cross-functional solutions for large data sets
- Contribute to crucial projects and influence decision-making across various organizations
- Utilize workforce development, communication, and technical skills to convey complex technical requirements and trends to diverse audiences
- Present data insights and recommendations to clients and stakeholders using knowledge of databases and scripting languages, such as SQL, Python, or R, alongside Microsoft Office Suite
- Develop quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to enhance technical outcomes
- Employ data visualization through various formats like graphs, tables, and PowerPoint presentations
- Enhance your communication and technical abilities by creating data-driven solutions across the Department of Workforce (DoW)
