Requirements
Must:
- Experience as a telecommunications engineer
- Proven skills in designing and architecting intricate systems
- Knowledge of network technologies, components, systems, and vendors
- Proficiency in developing and executing test plans, as well as evaluating network systems changes and operations
- Familiarity with routed and switched networks, along with network management and control systems
- Background in technical and project management, particularly in Information Technology (IT) projects, encompassing risk, cost, scheduling, and performance management
- Capability to formulate requirements and devise technical solutions
- Aptitude for researching and resolving issues related to systems implementation and configurations
- Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to undergo a polygraph examination
- Bachelors degree with 8+ years in network technologies, or 12+ years of experience in network technologies in absence of a degree
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering initiatives to support customer missions
- Collaborate with vendors to design and develop telecommunications systems
- Oversee the progression and adaptation of these systems
- Expand your expertise in telecommunications and project management
- Drive the mission forward through innovative engineering solutions
- Engage in technical discussions and provide recommendations to enhance system performance
