Requirements
Must:
- Over 7 years of experience in software design, solutions, application, or technical architecture
- More than 7 years in software development using languages like Python, Dotnet, or Java
- Proven experience in architecting and deploying solutions in AWS and hybrid cloud settings
- Skilled in developing secure, cloud-based architectures while following engineering and cloud governance standards
- Experience in deploying and troubleshooting IaaS environments and Linux or Unix-based systems, including shell scripting
- Familiarity with Gen-AI tools, such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Claude Code
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and automation tools, including GitHub Actions
- Capability to lead technical teams effectively
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client standards
- Bachelors degree or equivalent education
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and modern cloud solutions to support Public Health data modernization initiatives
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and data modernization stakeholders to inform strategy and ensure standards are upheld during implementation
- Recommend tools and solutions based on in-depth research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources
- Guide your team in helping clients overcome their most challenging issues in the cloud
- Expand your expertise in automation, cloud security, and contemporary DevOps practices while developing vital systems for national Public Health improvements
