Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS
- Proficient in using GIT
- Experience with managing virtual machines and VMware ESXi
- Solid understanding of Linux firewalls, RPMs, networking configurations, and DNS
- Possess TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or IT-related field, along with 5+ years in systems or network administration, or 10+ years in systems or network administration in place of a degree
- Capability to obtain DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification within 60 days of starting the role
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Cross Domain Solutions within an enterprise environment
- Continuously seek improvements in infrastructure using cutting-edge technology and optimal deployment strategies
- Counsel on technologies and methods to enhance platform security, stability, and reliability while adhering to security protocols
- Suggest enhancements and architectural modifications to boost speed and performance
- Provide clients with insights through network monitoring and performance management
- Identify areas for enhancement in mission-critical networks
- Transform metrics into comprehensible information for teams, clarifying their significance
- Share expertise through leadership and mentorship to assist teams in overcoming challenges and developing innovative practices
- Explore new opportunities for network modernization to fulfill client requirements
