Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years of experience in engineering management or operational research analysis
- At least 5 years of experience with Navy acquisition or In-Service Programs
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing Navy Engineering Support
- Skilled in leading meetings, taking minutes, and managing action items
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Capable of analyzing and refining engineering program documentation, developing and implementing new processes, and assessing program risks
- Demonstrates proactivity, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
- Possession of a Secret clearance
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Cybersecurity related field
Responsibilities
- Act as a senior-level Program Manager or PM Analyst, offering acquisition program management support for a Naval submarine initiative
- Provide technical engineering support specifically for submarine combat and weapon control systems
- Collaborate directly with the chief engineer to oversee the integration of Non-Developmental Item (NDI) applications
- Conduct technical reviews of submissions including drawings, system diagrams, technical manuals, test procedures, results, and contract deliverables
- Diagnose and resolve operating challenges, recommending and making necessary adjustments in consultation with the program chief engineer and Technical Direction Agent (TDA) team
- Affirm technical compliance for NDI applications as part of formal testing and delivery milestones
