Requirements
Must:
- Over 6 years of experience in space operations or space procurement
- At least 3 years of experience in developing or analyzing ISR architecture
- Minimum 3 years of experience in modeling and simulation within space or DoW settings
- Proficiency in modeling and simulation tools and programming languages, such as MBSE, STK, AFSIM, Python, or MATLAB
- Familiarity with optical or radar remote sensing systems
- Experience in collaborating between organizations in the broader DoW and National Security Space Enterprise
- Understanding of both offensive and defensive space operations
- Knowledge of command and control operations
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a willingness to undergo a polygraph examination
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Physical Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operational Research, or Computer Science
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and define model parameters for Space Domain Awareness (SDA)
- Apply expertise in threat detection and intent characterization to enhance operational readiness
- Utilize knowledge of the Space Surveillance Network and multi-mission sensors in modeling environments
- Propose and analyze technical solutions to address knowledge gaps in Force Design requirements
- Validate technical assumptions and inputs related to Force Design
- Synthesize data from astrodynamics, optical and radar physics, and various intelligence disciplines to inform SDA Force Design
- Collaborate on activities supporting SDA including ground-based radars and international partnerships
- Integrate operational scenarios and strategic guidance regarding SDA at multiple classification levels
- Identify dependencies and vulnerabilities to refine Force Design initiatives
- Document and coordinate findings and recommendations in line with established organizational processes
