Requirements
Must:
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering or integration within DoD satellite systems or ground systems
- 5+ years of experience with space system and DoD program evaluations, such as SRR, SDR, SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, and PCA
- 2+ years of experience leading risk management initiatives on Major Defense Acquisition Programs involving space, ground, software, or hardware systems
- Proven ability to identify, assess, and recommend solutions for program risks and opportunities, along with managing mitigation plans
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experienced in applying Model-Based Systems Engineering or digital engineering techniques for managing system specifications and technical baselines
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic, contributing effectively to the DoD mission
- Strong communication abilities and experience working collaboratively within cross-functional teams as well as independently, displaying initiative to complete complex assignments
- Possession of a Secret clearance
- A Bachelors degree is required
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Booz Allen colleagues, support contractors, and U.S. Space Force personnel to develop and implement cutting-edge military satellite communication capabilities
- Play a crucial role in the engineering division to assist government efforts in successfully integrating space, ground, and user segments, ensuring all external stakeholders meet user requirements
- Utilize your expertise and innovative approach to ensure the delivery of capabilities that address current threats
- Manage the translation of customer needs into comprehensive technical specifications to drive impactful engineering solutions
