Requirements
Must:
- Over 7 years of experience in Department of Defense (DoD) simulation and training environments
- Proficiency in applying Risk Management Framework (RMF), implementing DoD security controls, and supporting system accreditation
- Familiarity with High-Level Architecture, Distributed Interactive Simulation, and Open Mission Systems standards
- Skill in architecting, integrating, and managing intricate systems across distributed simulation settings
- Capacity to provide constructive insights on SCARS standards
- Secret clearance required
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science field
- IAT Level II Certification
Responsibilities
- Support the Simulator Common Architecture Requirements and Standards (SCARS) Team
- Enhance cybersecurity and promote greater standardization of simulator components using a modular open systems architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn operational challenges into effective technical solutions within Air Force simulation and training environments
- Utilize data analysis, optimization, and high-performance computing to drive innovation and enhance mission capabilities
