Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a Network Operations Center or Service Desk supporting clients in a technical environment
- Proficiency with virtual applications, such as VMware vSphere, vCenter, or ESXi
- Background in network administration or engineering, including the use of monitoring, diagnostic, and analytics tools, as well as configuring network devices and services like routers and switches
- Active Secret clearance
- Bachelors degree with at least 2 years in systems administration, or 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Capability to obtain DoD 8570.01-M or DoDM 8140.03 Certification, such as Security+, within 30 days of employment
Responsibilities
- Support critical global C2ISR Infrastructure for sensor data transport
- Enhance and expand network-wide infrastructure while troubleshooting and resolving complex issues
- Analyze existing infrastructure to improve security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical systems
- Collaborate with team members, customers, and vendors to define and address requirements for sensor data transport
- Optimize operations and facilitate modernization initiatives
- Take ownership and accountability for all outcomes, proactively identifying issues and driving solutions
- Assess risks, eliminate obstacles, and make decisive actions to prevent schedule, cost, or performance impacts
- Elevate team effectiveness by taking initiative beyond assigned duties to meet mission goals
