Requirements
Must:
- Over 3 years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Rocky
- Over 3 years of experience with Proxmox
- Familiarity with Git
- Experience managing systems using Infrastructure as Code tools like Salt, Ansible, Puppet, PowerShell, Chef, or Terraform
- Proficient in Linux firewalls, Linux RPMs, networking configuration, and DNS
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelors degree in a Computer Science or IT field plus 5+ years of systems or network administration experience, or 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification within 60 days of hiring
Responsibilities
- Enhance infrastructure using cutting-edge technologies and optimal implementation techniques
- Recommend solutions to boost platform performance and security while adhering to security controls
- Ensure system availability and reliability requirements are met
- Monitor networks and provide performance insights to clients
- Identify problem areas and suggest improvements in mission-critical networks
- Convert metrics into meaningful information to aid team understanding
- Lead and mentor team members through challenges while fostering new methodologies
- Identify modernization opportunities to improve network services for clients
