Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in RF circuit design
- 2+ years of experience in testing and measurement techniques
- 1+ years of experience in system design
- Proficiency with SDR-based signal capture, generation, and processing to simulate and assess complex modulation and demodulation schemes under stress
- Experience conducting forensic IQ analysis to determine root causes of link failures, including multi-path fading, co-channel interference, and hardware non-linearities
- Skilled in designing instrumentation-grade RF Test Benches, ensuring rigorous control over IP3, Noise Figure, and SFDR for measurement integrity
- Capability to evaluate and address cyber risks associated with wireless communications
- Active Top Secret clearance
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
- Willingness to obtain CompTIA Security+ or IAT Level II certification within 6 months of start date
Responsibilities
- Engage in the design and analysis of various radio and encryption devices with a focus on cyber security
- Lead efforts to discover and characterize waveform stress points by analyzing data link performance in challenging and contested spectral environments
- Apply systems-level expertise in wireless network data links to assess RF-layer degradations throughout the protocol stack
- Mentor and guide junior staff by sharing your knowledge and experience
- Collaborate with the team to develop test plans that ensure the functionality and security of communication devices from cyber threats
