Requirements
Must:
- Over 7 years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) supporting production systems
- At least 2 years of experience with AWS, including services such as EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, VPC, Route 53, Certificate Manager, and Secrets Manager
- A minimum of 1 year of experience with Kubernetes and containers in a production setting, including Helm chart management and troubleshooting
- Proficient with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, including cloud networking and security principles
- Experience with GitOps and CI/CD practices, utilizing tools like ArgoCD or Flux and building pipelines with GitHub Actions
- Skilled in automation and scripting using languages such as Python or Bash, along with debugging and Git workflow best practices
- Capacity to work autonomously in a self-directed setting and grasp new technologies efficiently
- Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or suitability/fitness determination based on client needs
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Willingness to obtain AWS Solutions Architect - Associate Certification within 6 months of starting
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms for AI-driven applications in the federal civilian sector
- Manage full-stack operations, including provisioning cloud resources and overseeing deployments
- Enhance tooling and automation processes to improve service reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and implement innovative practices in platform engineering
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production systems promptly
- Participate in the continuous improvement of development methodologies and operational excellence
