Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a large-scale enterprise network environment
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, highly available network infrastructures, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
- Proficient in developing and maintaining network documentation such as topologies, configurations, procedures, and runbooks
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP stack, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), and switching technologies (VLANs, STP, port-channeling)
- Skillful in managing and optimizing network monitoring, alerting, and logging systems for proactive issue resolution
- Capable of performing advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis on complex network performance, connectivity, and security issues over LAN or WAN
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain vendor certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Junos, etc.) within 30 days of hire
- Ability to achieve Security+ Certification within 60 days of hire
Responsibilities
- Design and develop reliable and efficient network architectures tailored to the DoDs evolving requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues to enhance security, reliability, and availability for critical systems
- Analyze current network infrastructures to recommend and implement optimizations
- Serve as an advisor on mission-critical projects, utilizing expertise in key management, firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto), and cloud migration
- Collaborate with our team of specialists to help the DoD advance and deploy emerging capabilities and technologies
- Contribute to network automation initiatives using scripting languages and management tools
- Mentor junior team members and participate in cross-functional project teams
