Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in containerization technologies, micro-service network architecture, and CI/CD tools, including GitLab
- Experience in managing storage and networking environments, including conducting network analysis, system availability reviews, and risk assessments
- Skilled in configuring, deploying, and maintaining platforms and integration tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, Helm, EKS, and Ceph
- Experience migrating applications in hybrid cloud, air-gapped, or disconnected environments
- Competence in writing automation and provisioning scripts such as Ansible playbooks, Linux automation, Windows PowerShell, and basic API integrations
- High technical expertise across all phases of systems engineering processes
- Ability to offer technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
- TS/SCI clearance required
- High school diploma or GED
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain distributed and managed platform services
- Automate installation, configuration, and ongoing support of system components
- Optimize systems for peak performance, reliability, and efficiency
- Plan and oversee software releases and feature deployments
- Support users through platform consolidation and optimization initiatives
- Administer server hardware and software as needed
- Enforce security best practices and procedures
- Troubleshoot and resolve systemic issues
- Stay updated with operating systems, software analysis techniques, and emerging technologies
- Proactively research and recommend future technical directions to leadership
- Provide technical expertise in developing or enhancing software programs and applications
