Requirements
Must:
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering roles
- 2+ years of experience with the Databricks platform
- Proficient in PySpark and Spark SQL
- Familiar with Databricks clusters, jobs or workflows, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog in production settings
- Experience integrating Databricks with CI/CD pipelines and enterprise SDLC tools
- Knowledge of Python for data engineering and ML workflows
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and their associated data services
- Capability to function effectively in structured, compliance-driven government environments
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelors degree
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data and analytics solutions tailored to government mission requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply AI-enabled analytics and machine learning techniques to address operational challenges
- Implement and manage Databricks clusters, workflows, and data storage solutions
- Integrate Databricks with existing CI/CD pipelines and ensure compliance with established SDLC processes
- Monitor and optimize performance of data solutions in accordance with regulatory standards
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest technology trends applicable to data engineering
