Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in Spark development, including proficiency in PySpark or Java Spark
- Over 5 years of experience in designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining complex data applications at an enterprise level
- More than 5 years of experience working with big data and constructing ETL pipelines to process data at petabyte scale
- Experience in modeling complex data structures of various formats
- Knowledge of distributed data and computing tools, such as Spark, AWS, or Kafka
- Proven ability to create solutions in a collaborative, cross-functional team setting
- Skilled in developing scripts and programs to transform different types of data into usable formats and aid project teams in scaling, monitoring, and operating data platforms
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
Responsibilities
- Implement data engineering tasks on impactful projects within the industry
- Develop and deploy data pipelines and platforms that make disparate data comprehensible
- Collaborate with and mentor a diverse team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data stakeholders
- Manage the evaluation, design, construction, and upkeep of scalable platforms for clients
- Utilize your analytical exploration and data examination skills to drive insights from big data
- Engage in an agile work environment and adapt to evolving project needs
