Requirements
Must:
- 3+ years of experience in deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting multi-vendor network equipment and solutions, including VMWare, Cisco, Palo Alto, Dell, HPE, or Juniper
- Proven expertise in configuring access control lists and firewall rules
- Comprehensive knowledge of TCP/IP and data network protocols, including ARP, BGP, DHCP, HTTP, SNMP, and TCP, along with protocol analysis tools
- Active Secret clearance
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification and DoD IAT Level II Certification
Responsibilities
- Design and implement effective network infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of the Department of Defense
- Diagnose and resolve intricate network issues to ensure operational continuity
- Analyze current network systems and enhance security, reliability, and availability for critical mission-focused networks
- Utilize knowledge of network protocols and emerging technologies to optimize client operations and facilitate modernization
- Serve as a reliable advisor to clients on essential projects, leveraging experience with firewalls and routing technologies
- Stay informed about industry standards and contribute to missions related to national security
