Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in government IT
- Experience in developing or assessing network infrastructure designs, including routers, switches, firewalls, and cross-domain solutions
- Proficiency in creating, analyzing, and maintaining network diagrams and documentation
- Understanding of DoD acquisition and contracting processes
- Skill in formulating network security protocols
- Capability to recommend innovative technologies, products, and services
- Competence in working, communicating, and collaborating in a professional, client-facing setting on intricate problem-solving
- Secret clearance is necessary
- Bachelors degree is required
Responsibilities
- Utilize experience in network design and architecture to support national defense initiatives
- Develop and enhance network infrastructure to meet evolving requirements
- Review and assess network designs for effectiveness and security
- Research and advise on emerging technologies and service offerings
- Troubleshoot complex network issues as they arise
- Ensure increased security, reliability, and availability of critical mission network systems
- Apply expertise in DoD IT to aid in building systems and infrastructure for mission data management
- Optimize client operations through an understanding of network protocols and configurations
- Serve as a trusted advisor for clients on vital projects, utilizing knowledge of secure and cross-domain solutions
