Requirements
Must:
- Over 6 years of experience as a network or data center systems engineer
- At least 3 years of experience in network architecture
- Proficient in network design, protocols, and infrastructure, including IPv4, IPv6, QoS, MPLS, or BGP
- Familiarity with network topology diagrams and skilled in using network diagramming software, particularly MS Visio
- Knowledgeable about STIG network device security compliance, as well as security hardening protocols and access control methods
- Understanding principles of network security, including Crypto, COMSEC, ViPER, or VOIP for device installation and configuration
- Capable of developing network architecture to facilitate global encrypted communications, modeling bandwidth, data flows, and defining mission threads using MBSE
- Must possess a Top Secret clearance
- Holds a Bachelors degree
- Certifications such as Network+, Security+, CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP are required
Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced network architectures to meet client specifications
- Troubleshoot and address intricate network issues to enhance system performance
- Analyze existing infrastructures to identify improvements for security, reliability, and availability
- Leverage expertise in routing, switching, and encryption to optimize network operations
- Advise clients on mission-critical projects as a trusted resource
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and network protocols to ensure the evolution of client capabilities
- Collaborate with a team to implement and deploy new network solutions and capabilities
