Requirements

Must:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Department of Defense simulation and training settings - Familiarity with standards such as High-Level Architecture (HLA), Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS), and Open Mission Systems (OMS) - Knowledge of LAN or WAN infrastructure, remote connectivity solutions, and network hardware, including routers, bridges, and firewalls - Active Secret clearance - Associates degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field - IAT Level II Certification - Preferred experience with cloud technology, software virtualization, containerization, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), SysML, and Digital Engineering (DE) - Understanding of systems engineering and standards processes based on the Systems Engineering Body of Knowledge (SEBoK) - Strong communication and public speaking abilities - Top Secret clearance is advantageous - Bachelors degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science is a plus

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and develop effective technical solutions for Air Force simulation and training environments - Contribute to enhancing cybersecurity and increasing standardization of simulator components through the use of modular open systems architecture - Apply data analysis and optimization techniques to drive innovation and enhance mission capabilities - Translate real-world requirements into technical specifications to deliver customer-centric engineering solutions - Engage in continuous improvement of training, analysis, and decision-making processes within the Air Force enterprise - Actively participate in project planning and execution to meet client needs - Employ high-performance computing techniques to facilitate advanced training and simulation capabilities
