Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical or computer engineering
- Proficiency in VHDL or OpenCL firmware programming
- Experience with HDL verification methods, including SystemVerilog, OVM, or UVM
- Ability to analyze and execute test plans and procedures
- Skilled in developing or reviewing technical documentation
- Familiarity with Linux Operating Systems, particularly Red Hat
- Knowledge of FPGA devices including Xilinx, Intel, or Microsemi
- Required Secret security clearance
- Associates degree or equivalent education
- Capability to achieve DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CYSA, SSCP, or GSEC Certification) within 6 months of hire
Responsibilities
- Collaborate within a team to assess systems against security requirements to identify potential risks
- Understand and devise testing methodologies using vendor documentation
- Review hardware description languages to detect potential threat vectors
- Evaluate cross-domain systems for compliance with stringent DoD security standards
- Conduct analysis and testing to pinpoint vulnerabilities and threat vectors in various cross-domain systems
- Identify exploits and formulate attack methodologies as required
- Contribute to solutions for a range of moderately complex issues
- Prepare reports based on hands-on testing outcomes and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Research hardware-based filtering technologies to enhance departmental knowledge and support business needs
