Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years of experience as an engineer working with the Air Force or Department of Defense
- Proficient in creating requirements documentation and managing Systems Engineering events, Configuration Control Boards, Airworthiness, integration, testing, and compliance with Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of DoD acquisition processes, system program office functions, and weapon system support organizations
- Knowledge of Aircraft Architecture
- Capability to comprehend system requirements and assist in the execution of technical programs
- Active Secret clearance
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
Responsibilities
- Lead complex systems engineering initiatives to address intricate challenges in weapon systems
- Design and develop advanced systems while integrating advanced technology solutions
- Mentor team members and share expertise in weapon systems engineering
- Oversee the evolution of weapon systems through integration, testing, and certification to enhance warfighter capabilities
- Maintain customer focus by aligning engineering solutions with mission requirements
