Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience configuring network devices, such as switches, routers, and firewalls
- Proficient in delivering network engineering documents, including templates, configuration guides, and diagrams
- Strong understanding of Layer 2 to Layer 4 networking protocols
- Willingness to travel to OCONUS locations up to 30% of the time
- Active Secret clearance
- High School diploma or GED required
- Security+ and Cisco certifications, including Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Program Management Office to design network architecture and provide operational support
- Establish network requirements and develop technical solutions
- Conduct solution analyses and evaluate architecture designs
- Analyze and implement migration and implementation plans for data centers and remote access
- Provide Tier III network support and handle troubleshooting for unscheduled outages
- Monitor network activity and performance to identify potential issues and inefficiencies
- Develop and implement automated configuration management software solutions
- Work with cybersecurity, engineering, quality assurance, and operations teams to align network requirements
- Participate in the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network components
