Requirements
Must:
- Over 7 years of experience in designing, modifying, developing, and implementing software applications using agile methodologies
- More than 1 year of experience with commercially available laboratory information management systems
- Proficiency in writing source code for new applications, including modules and forms, or enhancing existing application code
- Ability to gather client requirements and address workflow challenges
- Experience in creating software solutions for complex issues within a collaborative team of testers, business analysts, and experts
- Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination as per client specifications
- Bachelors degree with 5+ years in software engineering, or over 15 years of experience in software engineering in place of a degree
Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end LIMS solutions in a dynamic and agile environment
- Engage directly with end-users in the lab to gather feedback and improve system functionalities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to innovate and enhance laboratory data management workflows
- Implement software solutions from the initial vision to production readiness
- Troubleshoot and solve workflow problems to optimize laboratory operations
- Conduct regular updates and modifications to the LIMS platform as necessary
- Participate in system testing and validation to ensure quality and performance
