Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience managing secure on-premise data center environments, including Linux server administration, virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V, storage solutions, and network setup
- More than 5 years of experience designing and integrating hardware solutions for critical workloads, encompassing server architecture, high-availability systems, and specialized computer hardware
- At least 2 years of experience with CI/CD automation, Docker, or Kubernetes development
- Over 2 years of involvement with IT Service Management (ITSM) or system management processes such as configuration management, change management, and continuous service improvement
- Proficiency in patch management, system hardening, and overseeing both physical and virtual infrastructure
- Familiarity with scripting, IaaS automation, and application deployment automation
- Possession of a Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Capability to obtain DoD CompTIA 8570 level 2 Certification within 6 months of employment
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with cloud architects and engineers to oversee server configurations for modern solutions
- Enhance skills within a DevOps framework to establish and provision virtual machines or networks
- Utilize cloud service providers to advance clients significant missions
- Develop on-prem data center infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and enterprise networking components
- Engage with the latest technology and a skilled team to tackle clients challenges across both cloud and on-prem environments
- Contribute to the development, deployment, and management of IT infrastructures for critical server and network components
