Requirements

Must:
- Over 7 years of experience in systems engineering, focusing on software integration for various ground system components like satellite command and control, data processing, communications, and mission planning systems - Over 7 years of experience in software development utilizing programming languages and technologies, particularly C++ or Python - At least 2 years of experience engaging in program reviews such as SRR, SDR, SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, and PCA - More than 2 years of experience in creating or evaluating software design documentation, interface specifications, technical reports, and integration processes for both operational usage and future development - Proficient in assessing, modifying, developing, writing, and executing software applications - Skilled in conducting integration and system-level tests, with capabilities in troubleshooting and debugging to confirm software functionality and system interoperability - Competent in analyzing software or firmware from weapon systems for performance characterization and vulnerability assessments - Ability to proactively collaborate with diverse teams, including systems engineering, cybersecurity, and operations, to gather requirements and ensure alignment with mission objectives - Active Secret clearance - Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with Booz Allen colleagues, other contractors, and U.S. Space Force personnel to design and implement modern ground systems that facilitate the rapid acquisition of upcoming capabilities - Play a pivotal role in the engineering branch to assist governmental teams in integrating space, ground, and crypto segments effectively to fulfill user demands - Provide direct assistance to the chief engineer while managing the Booz Allen engineering team engaged with the program office - Innovate and apply your expertise to ensure that capabilities are successfully delivered to address emerging threats - Participate in various program reviews and ensure compliance with established engineering standards and practices
