Requirements
Must:
- Over 8 years of experience in systems or avionics engineering, or in software design and deployment utilizing agile software development methodologies
- Proficiency in Model Based Systems Engineering and involvement in or leadership of the NAVAIR SETR process
- Familiarity with SysML models and coding for new applications or enhancing code for existing applications
- Experience in developing or acquiring client requirements and solving workflow challenges through automation optimization
- Skill in creating Interface Control Documentation to improve communication internally and externally
- Experience in mentoring or overseeing team members within a collaborative, cross-functional software development environment
- Understanding of DoD acquisition processes and systems engineering practices
- Capacity to independently analyze, strategize, and operate on both tactical and strategic levels, integrating MBSE into Agile software development cycles
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technology field
Responsibilities
- Analyze the operational environment to ensure that software solutions align with the current architecture and future enhancements
- Assist in the development of F-35 software and the integration of subsystems and new functionalities, including design, testing, and execution
- Share knowledge within the team as they leverage new tools and methodologies while identifying and implementing system improvements
- Solve intricate software system issues and influence the development of the nations most sophisticated fighter aircraft, the F-35
