Requirements
Must:
- 2+ years of experience in software development and embedded systems
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python
- Familiarity with low-level development tasks, including interrupt handlers and device drivers
- Experience with digital and analog control systems and power electronics
- Knowledge of electromagnetic interference (EMI) techniques and radio frequency (RF) principles
- Background in conducting basic and applied research and assimilating new technologies
- Competence in troubleshooting circuits and systems
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently and translate client needs into actionable deliverables
- Ability to work in indoor labs and outdoor testing environments
- Valid Secret clearance
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
Responsibilities
- Design and develop operator interface modules and control systems
- Transform research and technology projects into practical system prototypes
- Conduct testing, evaluation, and prototype development for client systems
- Mentor and provide leadership to junior engineering staff
- Analyze, build, and test electronic equipment as well as control systems
- Lead efforts to innovate solutions for the Department of Defense
- Broadening personal expertise in areas like pulsed power engineering and systems engineering
