Requirements
Must:
- 7+ years of experience working on contracts for the federal government
- Familiarity with data flow, Apache NiFi, or mission systems
- Proficiency in defining and applying data tagging and handling requirements
- Experience in analyzing and defining data schemas and processing requirements
- Skilled in developing capability level and functional requirements, mission scenarios, use cases, or business processes
- Understanding of data governance concepts, such as data provenance, classification, sizing, retention, data sharing, and marking
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is mandatory
- Bachelors degree in an IT Engineering field with 7+ years of systems engineering experience, or 12+ years of experience in systems engineering in lieu of a degree
Responsibilities
- Drive modernization efforts for the clients enterprise data flow team
- Provide Tier 1 operations support for customer data flow requests
- Specify requirements for new data flows
- Coordinate with data flow service providers
- Define processes, business rules, and functional requirements for mission systems that facilitate data flow
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various roles and teams to plan and implement essential data flows for critical cyber missions
- Expand expertise in areas like cross-domain technologies, data handling, tagging, and schema development and validation
- Integrate system engineering and mission data governance to support the modernization of enterprise data flow processes and systems for national security
